The International Students Support Unit of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (N.K.U.A.) is a structure of the Institution that was founded and became operational following the decision of the Academic Senate (April 28, 2021) , which was published in the Official Gazette 4237/t. B΄/14-9-2021 in accordance with article 93 of Law 4692/2020, as amended by article 212 of Law 4957/2022.

As of Government Gazette 1425/τ. B'/06-02-2023, the International Students Support Unit has been integrated into the Directorate of Student Welfare, specifically within the Department of Student Support.

The mission of the Unit is to support international students enrolled in study programs of all cycles (first, second and third) of the University of Athens, before and after their arrival in Greece, for issues related to procedures, actions and communication with other public bodies.
